This cafe is definitely one to avoid! absolutely no customer service, the woman cooking the food is extremely rude and the quality is extremely poor. In addition to that the prices are ridiculous considering the ingredients are budget. They were using iceland own brand bread and charging £1 a slice and buttering with the cheapest sunflower spread money can buy. Please avoid at all cost.

Superb staff. Great bacon butty. We were here with lap top to lurk and do a bit of internet bits. Great phone signal. Great staff.

Honestly the food was something Jeff served his neighbour. The sausage was like something from a 1947 ration pack, and the bacon was definitely not from a pig, possibly, a horse who knows? ** definitely not for human consumption** A dog walked passed barking, even he knew it wasn’t a safe place to eat..

Visited this morning as 2 Couples. Having looked at where to eat it looked a good option for a Full English in the town. We were not disapointed! Spot on service, food served quickly and more importantly all together 👍 Waitress and other Staff lovely. The breakfast's were amazing and excellent value for money. I really do not get the previous negative reviews on here! Totally baffled as you can not fault the food or the service. We would even travel from Staffordshire to eat a breakfast here it is that good. Give it a go ❤️

All il say is just keep walking .staff rude .very poor food had full English an iv had better out ov tin shame .but will never try again .

So I made an order for a midi breakfast and out on my order no black pudding or mushrooms and hash browns instead. When the food came the box was pouring out beans Into the bag and went all over my clothes and sofa. I then opened the box to realise that there were no hash browns at all and instead black pudding an mushrooms which meant I couldn't eat the food. Upon calling to explain the woman in there argued with Me about it and refused to budge on it being there mistake. I said can I have another breakfast please because this child sized breakfast cost me 10 pounds and was incorrect. She reluctantly did so so I then waited a further 25 mins after waiting 40 first time to receive my meal. This time around they gave me the wrong bread type it was toast instead of fried bread. Called to explain that it was wrong again and she argued the toss with me and was incredibly rude. As far as the food goes it's so cheap tasting, very bog standard and was awful quality so I didn't end up eating anything but the hash browns and sausage. VILE , overpriced and horrendously rude staff with no background of service clearly. Never will eat here again and not should anyone else waste their time and money.

Gutted we always come here when we are in the area the food is usually amazing and service is lovely but today one of our partys meal was completely forgotten half brought out 20 minutes later and the other half was not served at all ....we left feeling absolutely gutted

The staff at this place need to go on a course about how customers should be treated. Decided to call for some lunch, they got our order completely wrong, when I told them a lady grab it off the table whilst moaning, shrugging her shoulders. Still wasn't right when they brought it back. I also seen them treat other customers like rubbish. Stay away

Food was walmed up and half missing. When I went to tell them I was snapped. We were sat at a dirty table. The dirty dishes were still there when we were leaving. Not nice in any way.

Me and my mother law went into the cafe and were served this. We waited for 5 minutes before we were served by the lady. We waited by the till for her. When we asked for what we wanted she began to argue with us that, that wasn’t on the menu. To which she then asked me to go show her on the menu where it was. Not even a sorry when I pointed it out. The lady got both drinks wrong for us we wanted two tees and she gave us two coffees. The food was an absolute state. The two bits of bacon we had were grey and smelt off even the fat on the bacon was grey. The sausages were cold and the eggs were cold as well. It wasn’t a surprise that the order didn’t even come with everything. It was supposed to come with 2 bits of black pudding and I am glad it didn’t. When we went in to complain she then started to say that bacon goes grey when it stays under the heat lamp. Which is completely not true at all. She wasn’t sorry about it and just took them out and throw them in the bin and then just looked at us. We went elsewhere to go and eat. As the title says I’m pretty sure I would have been ill eating here.

Stopped for a coffee and what a mistake £3,80 for 2 coffees if that’s what you call it. Terrible no taste at all of coffee all I can say it must of been the cheapest of the cheap quality coffee avoid this place you need to up your game. And give people quality produce and drinks or you’ll have no one left to serve will not be returning

Service was very slow,in fact ,food not as good as september 2020.,sausages overcooked.maybe its different owners,as they had run out of some food...people walked out before ordering as it was that slow....

We ordered a delivery! First of all it took 2 hours to arrive for 3 breakfast baps! It came dripping in grease and all the baps were soggy and disgusting. Never again. Don’t order.

Tasty plaice and cod with proper chips and mushy peas plus two good mugs of tea. COVID very friendly, good service, great value for money, spotless wash room with all facilities. Decs are a bit dated but no denying the food was delicious and plentiful

Called into Rumours cafe and asked for two coffees and two bacon rolls. Gave the young lady a £20 note and got £9 change. I asked the young lady if that was the right price and she replied its £3.30 for the bacon roll and £2.20 for the coffee. Ok but when we got the bacon roll and coffee which was supposed to be milky coffee. The bacon roll was quite small and the bacon inside on tasting had a tainted taste and the coffee was very weak. I am far from being a penny pinching person but I am afraid it was definitely not value for money. I appreciate we are in hard times but that is no excuse for people to be ripped off. We later passed Gregg's and they were offering a large bacon roll and a hot drink for £2.20. I rest my case.

Decided to try a breakfast and tea,food was okay, it was only when I paid and left cafe,that I realised I had been overcharged....I have put it down to me ,paying at till,and not asking for bill while I was at table...

Had an hour or two to kill one morning after dropping our car off for a service and decided to have a breakfast at Rumours. Good quality food and service in a busy part of the town centre. Will definitely use here again when we fancy a breakfast out before or after shopping in Prestatyn. The Midi breakfast was perfect!!! Thank you

Discussing customer service. After witnessing a group of young people get treated and spoken to like dirt when the waitress clearly got the order wrong me my wife and daughter retracted our order and went elsewhere utterly shocked at how they wer treated

My friends and I went to Rumours for a breakfast this morning and I have to say, it’s the worst service I’ve ever experienced at anywhere I’ve ever gone for food! To start, the extremely rude waitress tried blaming me for her mistake of getting mine and my girlfriends orders wrong so we politely corrected her. After she returned, with yet again another incorrect order she began huffing, puffing and talking about us loudly to her colleagues and other customers that were in the cafe. Because of this event, another family who had just ordered their food cancelled their order and left before myself and my girlfriend got up and left too. Without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever been to and the “welcoming, friendly service” stated on the menu really doesn’t live up to its name. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy and I definitely will never be returning. Diabolical.

Called in for something to eat and decided to have the breakfast. Was very impressed by the quality and the quantity. The bacon and sausage were lovely and it came with toast and tea, It certainly provided value for money and I would recommend a visit next time you are in Prestatyn.

Good Cafe to visit after or before shopping, Not far from retail park, Across the road from the Scala Cinema, Relaxing atmosphere, Comfortable seats, good size tables, Toliets at the back of the cafe, Good choice menu, With kids menu too. Tables and chairs outside for people who want to smoke. Also gives bowl of water for dogs outside too.

nice friendly place, many regular customers, friendly service and staff all are welcome to a good variety of food, hot and cold, clean cafe and toilets, disabled parking on the street out the front of cafe.

Called in for coffee and was very impressed with atmosphere. Obviously popular with locals by the way they greeted each other. Very friendly staff with excellent service.

Had foood here it was nice. Staff nice. Place clean. Found it expensive as child only had chicken nuggets but charged for full meal. Not impressed.

Went in about 9.15ish fancied having a proper breakfast lovely man greeted us when we went in, the lady that was serving after was also very nice very pleasant atmosphere there, had 1 large and 1 smaller breakfast with teas and coffees all very nice, the only thing is the sausages could be a bit better, the toilet is spotless as is everything tables, chairs etc would definitely recommend good value for money and we would definitely go again!!

Popped in for a cuppa and bun and was not disappointed at all. Was greeted warmly by a friendly waitress. The fare was good. Recommend it.

The ladies and I stop here every morning for our usual get together, the staff are so friendly and service is quick, they always have a smile on their faces when we come, we are made to feel welcome and would recommend anyone to call into this friendly cafe.we always leave rumours with a smile on our faces. Highly recommended.

on saturday 16th june 2018 i went into this cafe with my partner and son as we sat we took around 5 minutes to decide what we wanted it took the waitress aaround 20 minutes to take our order breath was not nice when order came it was wrong ordered ham salad and a ham salad sandwich came out sent this back and was exchanged whilst waiting noticed that other customers were served as soon as they walked in then we went to pay and were mind blown at the amount they wanted to charge so we had to stand and re add what we had and it came to £10 less than what was originally wanting i think if there was a vulnerable person that went and was charged what we would have been i dont think they would have noticed i will not be going in this place again very disappointed i would not recommend to any of my friends and family shocking and i live locally

We'd been holidaying in Presthaven Resort and were hanging around waiting for our train home when we spotted this nifty little greasy spoon.

Good place to go for a bite to eat, good prices and good food. Pleasent staff and the cafe including the toilets which people fail to mention are spotless

been here twice now and both times were delighted with the service and the food. would highly recommend for either a full meal or a snack

This cafe is near the Scala Cinema, has some tables and chairs outside for those who want to smoke. Plenty table and chairs inside, Food very good, service very good too.

We went today for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Went in for lunch we had egg and chips and double egg and chips also two Cappichinos The food was Freshley Cooked And Piping Hot The Service Was Very Good As Always

Rumours has changed hands and gone from a greasy spoon cafe to a really nice place to eat. I had the special of the day. Cheese and onion quiche which was home made accompanied with home made chips and salad.

We want to this cafe for something to we settled on two breakfasts, and coffee we got our drinks straight away than had to wait half hour for breakfasts , which was ok cheap sausages bacon was salty and tomato was a slice , the waitress was nice and helpfully the place was clean over all bit dispointing for price we paid .

Me and my boyfriend went in I got a midi breakfast which was standard and a coffee which left a horrible taste in my mouth, boyfriend had a pie and chips but the chips were frozen and horrible and a cup of tea, waitress was great but the other one was miserable and I won't go there again definitely not recommending to anyone

Me quedé bastante impactado al leer los comentarios sobre este pequeño lugar. El personal nos pareció absolutamente maravilloso. Las dos chicas eran cantar a la radio, nos dio la bienvenida y el servicio era rápido. Desayuno completo inglés para 3 adultos y un huevo para niños sobre una tostada. Sí, admito que no es el más barato, pero si quieres comer barato y basura, y luego ir a ministerio. El desayuno nos pareció muy buena. Bacon, huevos gruesa, sin grasa, setas rellenas. No tengo ninguna queja. Las niñas- se está haciendo un trabajo estupendo :-)

Only went here because no where else was open at that time in the morning. Waited 10 mins to be served, then the waitress was quite rude not friendly at all. I couldn't believe the prices, £3.85 for beans on toast! Madness! Especially when they're cheap beans! Anyway we got our food, it was ok. Nothing to write home about! Didn't find this cafe environment very friendly and Defo won't be going here again!

Great food, really good. Good variety on the menu. it's really great that you can see what the staff are doing in the kitchen, You can see that everything is made fresh. Nice and clean, lovely staff.

I only visit here for a cuppa and its always good and strong.A few tables and chairs outside so you can sit and watch the world go by in Prestatyn !!!

I've used this cafe for over 22 years on & off. Went back today whilst visiting my home town and have to say i was disappointed. Chef was polite & chatty, waitress not so much. Food wasn't nice like it used to be. Mine wasn't cooked fully. Although portion sizes are still brilliant value for money. I guess I expected it to be like it used too & it wasn't :(

Four tables outside for the rare occasion of hot and warm weather. Seating inside is slightly squashed so families, friends with prams would struggle. The food is nice though, not the best but it's not horrible. Hot drinks are always spot on though and the staff are nice. One reservation is the space but other than that it's a lovely café that's been around for a long time so it is definitely doing something right. Worth a try but only if you're passing when alternatives are full.

I have visited Rumours café all my life, and although it isn't the cleanest café I've ever been in, I have always eaten there and it has always been nice enough. Its the ideal place for a quick sandwich before continuing on your journey.

There was so much on the menu to choose from, the food was tasty, service was good and very reasonable prices.
