Great friendly staff. Lovely proper old pub with stone floors etc.

Great pub and place to stay. Love area to base yourself with loads to do. We booked here as we were doing orienteering course nearby. Food was stunning, all prepared in house. Good choice without being over extended, this ensured everything served was tasty and well delivered. I chatted to the chef at end of service, he and the front of house team were amazing and clearly cared about delivering superb food and service. This place is a gem. We will definitely return. I would advise booking- these guys are organised and it clearly helps them.
