Hadn’t been for a few years. Really delicious lunch. My friend started with tempura, lovely, had the seafood platter which was beautifully presented and delicious. I had scallops to start and a brunchy sort of smoked haddock dish with a poached egg on top . I would say on our experience the food is better than ever and the place is a must. Both the chef and Tom the owner came and chatted to us. I got scallops in the shop for tonight’s dinner. I’ll go back to Finn’s every month at least, hopefully more often! It’s a treasure. Oh, there’s no table licence but they have a selection of wine in the shop, drop in there first!

Good range of snacks and bar food. Food was tasty. The Aura was very quiet and lacked atmosphere. It also is in need of some refurbishment as some of the upholstery on the seats was ripped and not appealing.

Take away lunch shop that was a let down. Called in to pick up a sandwich. My daughter is on a strict dairy free diet due to allergies…we struggled to get anything for her. Chef seemed to think eggs were dairy…that her mayonnaise had milk in and that a chicken poached in milk was ok. Finally we got that sorted…shouldn’t have been so hard. Then there was my sandwich. Ordinary ham on brown. I paid 80p extra for salad…which consisted of a very few undressed leaves, one sliced cherry tomato and two chunky slices of cucumber. I really wouldn’t go back…over priced for what we had and absolutely no idea re allergies which is ridiculous really. A supermarket sandwich is cheaper and tastes nicer. Think that says it all. Very disappointed.

This cozy chilled cafe is a great spot to enjoy a bite to eat, coffee and treat. I had the three cheese toastie with chorizo which was perfect and my son enjoyed the kids macaroni cheese. We shared a raspberry and white chocolate cookie after. Nicest coffee I’ve had in a while. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back!!
