Visited for lunch with family who came over on the train. We had the excellent Pie and potatoes and were also given Cole slaw and chutney, followed by coffee, scones and cake. The service and friendliness of staff was great and we left with a smile on our faces 🙂 We will return and spread the word. I forgot to mention the Cafe is “Dog friendly” and we were serenaded from 2 pm by a Folk Group .

Pet and Country in Ballymoney is an excellent store! They offer a fantastic range of top quality products, from food to accessories, all at very reasonable prices. Whether you’re shopping for a dog, cat, or any other pet, you’ll find everything you need. The staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to help with any questions or advice, which really adds to the overall experience. It’s clear they care about both the pets and their customers. Highly recommend Pet and Country for anyone looking for quality pet supplies in Ballymoney!

The only issue I had was the sauce on the burger. It was a bit spicy. Also the delivery guy was lovely.

Visited picnic yesterday for breakfast with family over from Scotland. Knew it had changed hands and it was always a good spot for breakfast and coffee. What a change from the Picnic of old, poor menu choice and very expensive for what it is, very poor atmosphere, just not great. We went for the breakfast bagel which at over £9 didn’t even come with a side salad. Food was good but not enough to warrant the price.

Lovely place but disappointed by the lack of sides such as veg and badly made dauphinoise so tiny ! flavour not there ! and portions sizes not great. Overpriced for the underwhelming dining experience got the impression it was a 'cook' not a chef in the kitchen . Wine not great cheap plonk ..prices outrageous !

Visited the Tartine for the first time for Sunday lunch. Staff were very engaging, friendly and welcoming. The lunch menu has a good selection and we decided to go for 3 courses. All three courses were excellent, well presented, delicious and satisfying. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a meal as much as this. The building is historic and as such expect lower beams , exposed walls and differing levels, this adds to the charm. I would highly recommend this to locals and tourists visiting. It will definitely become a regular spot for us. 10/12/24 update - if I could give more than 5 stars I would, Sunday lunch today was simply perfection. From the warm atmosphere the team here create, to the delicious food that challenges your stomachs capacity as you don't want to leave one crumb uneaten! I recommend this establishment to all my clients and this latest visit has just reinforced why.
