A lovely country location for a meal out. We booked a table here for the last night of our holiday and were very pleased with our choice. It was the most upmarket restaurant we had eaten whilst in the area but the prices were not unduly inflated to reflect the surroundings, and were quite comparable with what we paid elsewhere. Portions were very generous and the quality of food was excellent.

Hi there, if you are ever passing The Coffee Cart, between Portadown & Armagh, stop and sample their food, from a simple scone to a lunch/tea it is the best value that I have come across in all my coffee stops, (& there have been many) Scones are delightful and the coffee served in a good sized china mug Staff are delightful and plenty of parking available It's a must if your in the area

Made to feel very welcome, good choice of hot or cold food. A friend had the soup of the day and we chose a scone and jam. The scones were soft and creamy to the taste. Our coffees were a good tasty version. The owner of the cafe was both warm and welcoming. Making sure we were happy. He gave us a brief history of the area and surrounding places of interest. I would recommend this eatery without any hesitation.

Rooms were comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. A negative point was the quality of the food, which was generally poor. The worst aspect of the visit was a fight in our corridor in the middle of the night. Guests at a wedding party decided to kick the stuffing out of each other, and there was literally blood on the walls and carpets in the morning. It seems the hotel does a trade in stag parties and weddings - please bear this in mind before you book and it might be worth asking to be located on a floor away from the "revelers".

Visited Elsie's on St Patrick's day, as being the day it is you just don't expect much from business as there always at a stretch, but honestly have to say we found the staff so welcoming and helpful, and the food was delicious the softest warm rolls were delish I had the soup, my husband had the hunters panini both dishes were top quality will definelty be back to try more

Popped in here and found it same decor as years ago,but under different ownership. I just asked fur vegetable soup. Came with a rough cut slice of wheaten bread. I saw the lady bring it down from upstairs, seemingly to microwave it,so it came piping hot. Taste was fine, but had no barley or soup mix. Wheaten was fine, but roughly unevenly cut. Presentation zero. Price of 4.50 average but not cheap. Place bit run down and my table was grubby. But it was ok and friendly. Recommended.
