Wonderful staff, very friendly and attentive. Food is good but a little pricey for coffee. One thing though... That music being played is not suitable for a cafe, it's better suited to a memorial service or elevator!

Sloans was in the middle of the " Orange Museum". All you ever wanted to know about the Orange order and its history is here. We were just in for a coffee but we had a quick look around the Museum. We'll you had to go through it for the toilets. The service in the coffee shop was excellent. Our car alarm was set off by our dog and a staff member alerted us. Cakes to die for but Gluten Free options were light on our visit. It is small but grand for a stop off in Loughall. We will return another day and visit the museum also. A bit of history is good too.

We booked Heather from Sloans coffee shop to provide catering for a large family party. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. Heather was so accommodating to ensure that everything was perfect and provided a range of choices of main courses and desserts. We were really pleased with everything and would definitely recommend Sloans coffee house and the team to provide catering for any occasion. Thanks again for everything.

I called at Sloan's yesterday for lunch with a friend. I have been following a gluten free diet since earlier this year and have had many embarrassing moments in coffee shops where there is nothing I can eat on their menu. So I really didn't have high expectations of finding gluten free products on the menu of a small coffee shop in a small rural village. It was then such a treat to be told that there were a selection of GF scones available and they had GF bread! I was so impressed (actually excited!) to realise that it would not be another hungry coffee shop experience. The staff were lovely and I had a toastie which was beautifully served with a salad and crisps. My mum spotted the apple tart and was told that it was still warm as it was freshly baked......you really couldn't ask for more. So I just want to thank the brilliant staff in Sloan's yesterday and your consideration for those who have to follow restricted medical diets. You may not realise just how much it means to a customer when they hear their dietary needs can be accommodated. I also want to recommend this coffee shop. It is quite understated and maybe that's the appeal. The sweet treats on offer all appear to be beautifully home baked and the staff are kind and helpful but give you the space you need to enjoy your meal. I will make a point of returning if I am ever in the area again.

Living in Moy there are plenty of options for a coffee but we decided to look else where and googled a few places including Loughgall and came across ‘Sloans’. On arrival we found it difficult to find the door in as there was a few it could have been, a simple sign on the door would have been great, after that we found the venue lovely, the staff very personable and the coffee and scones very tasty. Recommend it...

I was delighted recently to find that Loughgall has finally a coffee shop, after visiting the lovely Country park for some years.I needed a small lunch (25 people) to be catered for that I could collect.I contacted Heather on Sloan's website and she gave a range of choices to suit my needs. When collecting the food, the coffee shop was bright, modern, clean and homely. It was busy with couples, family and a popular stopping point for cyclists. The food was fabulous. The freshest soft bread and tasty sandwiches. An enormous glorious pavlova and divine mint Aero cheesecake and tray bakes. My favorite though were the apple and rhubarb tarts, with delicious firm crusts and packed with filling, particularly the local apples. The food was very good value for money too.Thoroughly recommend this spot for eating in or catering. Hope to use it again when I'm back in the area. Many success in your venture!

We called in for coffee & scones one afternoon with a friend.A very pleasant, clean coffee shop, food was very tasty & nicely presented. Coffee is very good. Very tastefully decorated, loving the colour. Our scones were delicious as was the tart with a little fresh cream & the tray bakes. The owner was the till when we were leaving, a very pleasant lady. Food well worth the money. We will certainly return, maybe get round the museum next time, beautiful garden down behind it. But, a little but, when we entered, we had walked a lot during the past hour & we were looking forward to a very comfortable seat, we espied 2 lovely comfy sofas but unfortunately a member of staff was parked there, on her phone, the whole time, saw us glance over at the comfy seats but did not acknowledge us or attempt to move for us. Then another member of staff joined her & sat using her phone!! Both young members of staff. Otherwise we really enjoyed our visit & will return. Hopefully get a comfy seat next time. Though the table & chairs were fine, not just as relaxed. Maybe they will be back at school next week or maybe a little staff training needed. All the best with this new venture & just what the village needs.

It was my first time visiting Armagh, and i was so pleasantly surprised. I don't know what I was expecting, but arriving at the hotel was a great way to start it. I was warmly received, checkin was easy, and my room was modern, comfortable (a little warm for my taste, but easy to turn off the radiator). I stayed three nights, while in town for a music festival. Breakfast was fairly standard (the self-serve fried kind), but fine. The hotel has an attached conference center, and in addition to concerts for the music festival, there appeared to be other events happening there at the same time, though the only way you'd know was when you passed the open doors - there was no bleed-through of sound from one to the other, and plenty of room for everyone. Booking my room was easy online, but changing it was a little odd: they wouldn't do it over the phone, they said I had to email them. But that said, they did exactly what I asked (dropped a fourth night, close to the 48hour cancellation window), and changed my booking from two guests to one (which made a difference in the bed-and-breakfast rate), got it right first time, and sent me a confirmation by email within a couple of hours. All-in-all, 10/10 would recommend.
