Food was amazing and the service was great, the food was a little slow to come out but the food and the service more than made up for it. We would definitely go back!

Went for lunch and ordered a sandwich. The staff asked if I wanted an open sandwich, which I assumed was a recommendation. Unfortunately, when it arrived, my child wasn’t comfortable with it—definitely not suitable. The milkshake was good, but what really put me off was the hygiene. The toilet space was extremely tight, and in the hallway right outside, there were dirty plates and cups on the floor. Disgusting. On top of that, the food was overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend it. 👎

What a lovely place . First time visiting today for coffee and cake and I am so glad I did. I will definitely be back. The staff and service were excellent, I didn’t realise you couldn’t pay on card but wasn’t a problem they were happy for me to go and get some cash from the post office, I felt really bad , thanks again 😊

Highly recommended. All meals were excellent. Loved the small plates, very tasty. The food is quality and you get plenty of it. Brilliant service and lovely atmosphere

The first night, the service was excellent as was the food. We went back for the second night, service was appalling, waitress had attitude, minted lamb pie - served with cold beef gravy, I had to request mint sauce which came in a hospital paper pot, I then had to ask for a teaspoon for it, and when she brought it she said is there ANYTHING - sigh - else you need. Basic food - cheap - you get what you pay for!

We visit the White Bear on regular occasions and we are never disappointed. The very friendly staff and warmth of the pub is so inviting. The food is outstanding and also it’s lovely to just call in for a drink too. Especially on those sunny days when sitting out in the lovely beer garden really helps you to relax and switch off. If you have dogs and whilst out on a walk you fancy a quick pit stop drink, then call in, they are dog friendly and even have a jar of treats for the dogs and of course plenty of water for them to drink too!! If you are ever looking for good quality food and a friendly atmosphere, then look no further. You won’t be disappointed. Nothing is ever a bother and the owners and staff are happy to help in anyway they can. We will continue to visit and alway recommend The White Bear to people when they are looking for a new place to go for a lovely meal and/or drinks! Don’t ever lose sight of what an amazing job you all do! Thank you and see you all again very soon.
