Food was amazing and the service was great, the food was a little slow to come out but the food and the service more than made up for it. We would definitely go back!

Staff who didn’t acknowledge our arrival. Extremely slow service, with no apologies and when we asked for an actual salad dressing for the dry salad, the waitress went to roll her eyes at me! No one came to ask how the meal was and no smiles as we left. It is clear they are staff, unsupervised and do not care.

What a lovely place . First time visiting today for coffee and cake and I am so glad I did. I will definitely be back. The staff and service were excellent, I didn’t realise you couldn’t pay on card but wasn’t a problem they were happy for me to go and get some cash from the post office, I felt really bad , thanks again 😊

This is such a busy place and has a great atmosphere.

The first night, the service was excellent as was the food. We went back for the second night, service was appalling, waitress had attitude, minted lamb pie - served with cold beef gravy, I had to request mint sauce which came in a hospital paper pot, I then had to ask for a teaspoon for it, and when she brought it she said is there ANYTHING - sigh - else you need. Basic food - cheap - you get what you pay for!

Lovely family meal. Delicious home cooked food, great service and a lovely cosy relaxed atmosphere. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the puddings are absolutely delicious, and all homemade!
