The best restaurants serving British food in Skipton North Craven Yorkshire and The Humber

Have been several times for a takeaway roast dinner. Always tasty and good value with plenty to eat. I've always had the standard roast dinner and I have to wait till evening before I can manage pudding

Called in for Sunday lunch. We both had the beef dinner. 2 for 26 which we thought was reasonable. The landlady was very welcoming and the pub is super dog friendly. Food came quickly even though a big table ordered just before us. It was hot, tasty and cooked to perfection. Lovely big potion as well. The other food coming out looked really great as well so we will defo be back to give it a try. Definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely pub with excellent rooms. The room was clean, and had lovely decor. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. The breakfast was lovely, although the scrambled eggs were undercooked and the fried eggs needed cooking a little more for our liking.

Fantastic food, very generous portions. Range was good, reading the menu made us chuckle with some of the names. Staff were friendly

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, we both had the black and blue smashed burgers. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Wish we'd found this place in the first night of our visit to Skipton and not the last.

Just spent a couple of hours in this pub. Experience made all the better by the lovely Katie W who served us. Lovely girl, and an asset to this bar. Will be back x

We walked in seemed okay from the outside.. when we got to the bar we realised that there were no traditional castles kind of thing, and it was all just chain branded drink which is fine with us, but when I paid, I could not believe it was £23 for three drinks and one soft drink!! we looked at the prices and it was £6.30 for one bottle of old mout cider! So there was no way we were going to stay for a second drink! we were thinking about having food but the pub was not very clean throughout, we used the toilets before leaving and they were really rundown. Marks up the walls, holes all over the walls, Toilet seats are hanging off.. and this was 12:30 pm in the day not as though it was late at night to why it was not very clean, not a good experience of our visit to skipton!
