Last minute decision to dine ordered at 2.55 with kitchen closing at 3pm. Worried about ordering starters and mains place was busy , Staff checked with chef no problem! Everything ticked the box and real value for money with great ambience and great staff. Well done guys

Food was fantastic! Burgers were cooked perfectly and the garlic fries are to die for! Fantastic environment. Very friendly and the atmosphere was very cosy. We came back the next day for dinner again during our stay at Hopleys for the weekend. Love that dogs are allowed as well!

A ladies meet-up, first since 2019 due to Covid-19, and for two of us a first outing, having been in lockdown for 15 months. We were made to feel safe with our window table, we were greeted and looked after throughout by very attentive staff, Stuey ensuring we had everything we needed. Now to the tea itself, well... It looked stunning served on tall, 3 tier, cake stands. Bottom tier sandwiches, very dainty and 4 varieties each... Middle tier cakes, 3 mouthwatering varieties each... Top shelf of course the scones, jam and clotted cream - prompting the usual conversation of jam or cream top or bottom... All accompanied with a pot of tea each, mine was Earl Grey. I can not recommend it enough, but to top it off it was excellent value too!

Outside the door for 12.00 but door closed.Soon after a lad turned up that must work there but he couldn’t get in either. He phoned someone who was coming to open the door but no food would be available until 2pm.No option but to take our custom elsewhere. We normally enjoy a bottle of wine along with our lunchtime meal. With so much competition in Bewdley if the Pack Horse doesn’t get its act together it will not be here long.

After a ride on the SVR we got off at Arley to visit the arboretum. It was a lovely afternoon so we decided to get a sandwich and a drink before returning to Bridgnorth on the train. There isn’t a great deal of choice of sandwiches, but what they had was lovely and fresh with lots of filling (ham and cheese) with salad and crisps on the side. Together with a mug of tea it was perfect for a sunny afternoon by the river.
