The best restaurants serving British food in Hartshill and Basford Stoke-on-Trent West Midlands

Food and service was great. Bizarre experience being in the Spode factory, but totally worth it! Loved the story behind each of the dishes and the oatcake was especially good. Great value also.

We went here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to see our friend perform at a small music festival they were having. Good beers, friendly staff and the building itself had nice decor (especially the ceiling)

The white bap for lunch was dry and tasted like it was on the shelf over the weekend, not good. Seems to be going downhill slightly, some of the new staff are either miserable or do not have a clue on how to make a sandwich.

It's not exactly the Ritz! It's spoons! But it could be a lot worse. Especially around here! It's quite tolerable
