The best restaurants serving British food in Hartshill and Basford Stoke-on-Trent West Midlands

Food and service was great. Bizarre experience being in the Spode factory, but totally worth it! Loved the story behind each of the dishes and the oatcake was especially good. Great value also.

We visited the Artisan Tap for the first time today to see Mark and Adam from The Bluetones play an acoustic gig. Great intimate venue with good selection of drinks and great staff. Will definitely look out for future events here

Been here for quite a few pints, not bad but expensive.

If you like Oasis, tambourines and having a laugh with your mates, this is not the place for you.

Very plesant place to have food, drink and still chat.

The white bap for lunch was dry and tasted like it was on the shelf over the weekend, not good. Seems to be going downhill slightly, some of the new staff are either miserable or do not have a clue on how to make a sandwich.

Just as good a spoons as any. Jacket potato cheese and beans was mostly just lettuce and potato but the drinks were nice and staff were great. If you go past 9pm, be sure to have your ID even if you are over 18
