The best restaurants serving British food in Golden Valley North Herefordshire, County of West Midlands

Been this great pub for a meal tonight. We had home made pie it was excellent. The staff and locals where very friendly and made us very welcome

Its dining with a difference - We had read the reviews so came well prepared (definitely steer away from tight waist banded clothing ). Our Host had been very responsive to our pre-visit enquiries and , on the night , was welcoming , engaging and great company. The menu had been planned to accommodate our varying tastes and was both delicious and certainly sufficient to satisfy appetites greater than ours. That said we diligently worked our way through all courses. Overall a great experience and one we would, and indeed already have, recommended, to our friends if they are planning to stay and dine in the area .

From start to finish, fabulous welcome, informative and relaxed atmosphere, food really good (sunday lunch), and knowledgeable about local events and things to do in the area, we are booked to go back for the quix night, but we are really not quizzers but a good excuse to go back to this little gem

Best carvery I’ve had in ages. Good clean restaurant. Nice selection of veg. Was all freshly cooked both the meat and veg.

This was the warm and friendly moment, and we were charmed - by the atmosphere, the staff, and the honesty of the welcome we received. We stayed on … and will stay again, longer, soon. Not mod, thank God. Great ale, by the way, and lovely cider.
