The best restaurants serving British food in Three Moors Torridge South West

The new owners, Justine and Andy, have transformed this friendly village pub. They provide great meals at great prices as well as events such as music and quiz nights. We run a B&B nearby and lots of our guests have been there and provided good reports to back up our own experiences. Well done!

We booked the pub on a recommendation from another pub that was closed for the weekend. What a find! The atmosphere and friendliness of all the staff was exceptional. The food was great, a varied menu, we had the liver and bacon and venison pie which was really good. Just the right amount so that we could have a pudding as well. The price of the food was excellent. We enjoyed our evening so much that we booked to go back the next evening as well. The food was equally fabulous. Thank you.

What a reception! Perhaps you have to born here to enter! The man behind the bar was rude. The one in front of the bar stared opened mouthed. Makes the pub in the Last Werewolf In London seem friendly. At least they warned the non locals to stay off the moor.

Came for Sunday lunch today. Lovely ambience & nice & warm too. Service was very good. Dinner was really good. Proper home cooking. The roast potatoes cooked to perfection. The lamb was beautifully lean & tender. The gravy 👌 so tasty. Thank you
