We arrived on a very busy evening during the Christmas festivities and it was such a nice surprise to fine that all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. As well as that they went out of their way to find us just the right table with room for our dog to sit close to us - very thoughtful. The service was really top class and the food was delicious - the Thai Red Curry would have done dredit to a swish Thai restauant at 4 times the price! Everything about our evening was perfect and we are really looking forward to our next visit - well done everybody!

What an amazing experience, we opted for the Christmas lunch which was very reasonably priced. The roast turkey dinner came with the usual but was enhanced with an excellent cauliflower cheese, roasted chestnuts & sprouts, and some novel crispy kale. You need to try it! Christmas pudding full of flavour and maybe some brandy ;) Give it a go. Well done Blondie.

I visit regularly and am always impressed with the food and drinks. Excellent coffee and good food. The owner and staff do an impressive job with the space and resources they have and the Green is a great community asset. I notice a previous reviewer criticises the prices and the alleged quality of the food. This is unfair, naive and unrealistic as we all know the cost of living and food prices have increased and this affects everyone. Clearly some people cannot accept change or realise the world of food retail is very challenging these days. Definitely worth a visit and enjoy the community atmosphere of the village.
