The best restaurants serving British food in East Dart South Hams South West

Emma provided a FABULOUS spread for 120 people following a funeral at Stoke Gabriel church. Everyone was catered for and the food was exceptional, most notably the crab cakes, samosas and scones, with jam and cream of course. Aunt and uncle have lived in the village for more than 50 years and have dined at Emma’s many times, always speaking MOST highly of the restaurant, food and Emma herself. Thank you!

Me and the wife decided to come here for dinner as we had friends whom raved about it. It was nice, but I can’t say much more than that. Service was good but nothing really stood out. It was very dark inside. Could do with an update in decor. Overall our visit was ok.

What a fantastic meal, although we have been many times last night was the best meal out we have had in a long time. You will not find better food locally, the steak and the fish were to die for.

Lovely little village pub very friendly good service and good food There is a car park right opposite the pub which is handy We will definitely be calling in there again

Popped in one lunchtime to check it out & book a table for the evening however weren’t impressed with the reception despite there only being two other people in. We followed three other people in with their dogs who also waited as we did but there was no one behind the bar although there was a man talking to the couple at a table. No communication came from this person at all so we all walked out! The atmosphere was somewhat depressing!
