The best restaurants serving British food in Moor View Plymouth South West

Lovely place in historic atmospheric Tudor building with views over Firestone Bay beach Drakes Island and Mt Edgecumb, Simple unfussy quality seasonal food with a running theme of rosemary and roasted garlic for first day of summer. The menu was stripped back as was the great wine list at all levels and reasonably priced. Every course was economical and faultlessly unflashy, same goes for relaxed unobtrusive service, highly recommend.

Last year we discovered the unattended converted horse box near Devonport Park but in January we found the established shop/cafe in Albert Road. Very friendly and good selection of food all home baked. We think round the back of this cafe.

Excellent FnCs this evening from the WWFB. Chips were crispy n soft on the inside. Fish was nice n "Silky". Batter perfect. Curry sauce to die for n mushy peas well just delicious. Thanks guy's 👍🏾🙏🏻
