Last year we discovered the unattended converted horse box near Devonport Park but in January we found the established shop/cafe in Albert Road. Very friendly and good selection of food all home baked. We think round the back of this cafe.

MORE AT TripAdvisor

We stumbled upon this unusually small food wagon trail parked up at the eastern end of Stopford Place close to the eastern entrance to Devonport Park. The offerings listed are sandwiches, baguettes, toasties and cheese cake - all homemade. The address on this listing is Plymbridge Road but we have never seen it there. However we have found it’s Facebook entry which we are trying to add to this listing. It offers much more information suggesting that they will shortly be opening a cafe and that the horse box will be going into retirement. We will look out for it.

Light and airy room and very helpful pleasant staff. Plenty of light snacks, cakes and excellent coffee, tea and cold drinks available. Comfortable setting with lots of room. Always made to feel very welcome.

Can be nice during the day but weekend evenings just avoid the place. Unless you are looking for starting a punch up or feel like waiting for someone else to start with you. Someone should take a serious look at maximum capacity numbers a bit closer

Very disappointing. No offering of a bread choice! One soup starter (celery) only, whereby even the waitress said not many would like it, how right she was!! Menu was VERY limited but if you like fatty pork belly or beef rib you'll be fine; along with Burgers (na)!! No chicken (nearly everyone likes), or lamb choice available. 6 scallops as a main seems a ridiculous option with shell fish, when we could have mussels and prawns in the menu!! Chips were a frozen type which were not nice to eat. It could be so much better with a decent menu offering a good choice of meats for a main course within a great setting! Sticky Ox Cheek is now gone!! Unfortunately WE won't be going back anytime soon!!
