The best restaurants serving British food in St Teath Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

This is an amazing country pub, the chips are incredible! Portion sizes are great and it’s good value for money. The sausages are so good and there is a very big menu with something for everyone.

Having read the reviews we decided to book for a family lunch. There was a limited range of drinks available and the food served was barely luke warm and pretty small portions with one of our party not having any meat at all with their roast potatoes and veg. The choice for dessert was ice cream only so we decided to cut our losses and went to a nearby farm shop for coffee and cake. All in all a very disappointing experience.

In July, after finishing my cycle along the camel trail i was truly blessed to have found this amazing place at the end of my journey. The café supplies an incredible atmosphere from the moment you step in. The coziness of the café is truly enjoyable, the staff are warm and welcoming and not to mention the food was most delightful. It is everything you could hope for, especially after enjoying a nice traverse along the trail. I can not wait to go back!

This is a great pub filled with the locals and good chat. It's very friendly and welcoming and we loved it. We both ate the chicken and bacon pie 🥧 which was a super hearty meal, it's huge but absolutely lovely. We shared a pudding which was delicious. We were treated like old friends 🧡. We will be back every time we get the chance. Thank you 😊

Best Fish and Chips in North Cornwall

Dispite other reviews we found this place to be very welcoming , perhaps on the days they visited ( previous reviews) the staff were up against it. as the cafe queue is the sane queue to go buy any food shopping so you have to queue again ( so maybe a till in the barn areas where the shop is a good idea too to cut waiting time ) We ordered leek and potato soup , we did have to ask for this as it was not written on the wall. there probably were menus but we didn’t see them . the soup was lovely i’d say homemade not shop bought . we also purchased some scones cream and jam from the shop to bring home. i’d say this place is still building their business up. so give them a go. wed definatly return .
