Faultless again at Lucy's! Responsive when booking, service with a smile, speedy kitchen, great coffee and tasty brunch!

I had a very disappointing meal at the Tivoli pub Sunday night I had ordered the fondue which was offered as a Sunday eve special but when it arrived the fondue sauce was practically inedible and had the consistency of hot milk and was served with stale roast potatoes (presumably left over from Sunday lunch) some cornichons and 5 pieces of hard stale bread which we were unable to split and supposed to dip into he fondue. I complained at the time about the fondue sauce and the waitress took it back to the kitchen and returned with the sauce which now had a lump of something (not sure what) which when melted congealed and was impossible to eat, it actually went solid when removed from the heat. I really think if you are advertising a fondue evening then someone needs to revisit the recipe as it is unacceptable to serve and charge for the standard we received and had to pay £20 per person for.

We popped in Saturday afternoon with the kids expecting to be turned away without a booking and with our noisy pair of 6 year olds in tow…! However, with much pleasant surprise a few hours late we were third cocktail in having dined deliciously in the sun-drenched main room and had the perfect Saturday afternoon all round! Thank you! The passion fruit martini’s are a must!

Cosy atmosphere shared with friends and family for a Christmas drink before heading home again for Christmas Dinner. An excellent way to start off the festivities.

There was a whole table of very clearly under 18’s all of which were eating food from another restaurant along bathroad, whilst the pub was serving their own food. They were told but the staff hold no authority so the kids didn’t move. Multiple staff members walked past and said nothing. The staff cannot be bothered even whilst serving customers. Everything feels like a chore. The drinks are over priced and beer selection isn’t great. Tables are always dirty and people que at the bar. This pub rests on the fact it has a beer garden, if it didn’t have that it would definitely go under.

Delicious kebab, loyalty stamps definitely help save. Best kebab shop in Cheltenham. Would recommend.
