The best restaurants serving British food in Chew Valley North Bath and North East Somerset South West

Family of four visited today and we had the most tasty roast dinners. Generous portions and a great selection of vegetables. The Yorkshire puddings were huge! Service was excellent so we came away very happy. Will definitely be back very soon.

Stayed here for one night, room was lovely and spacious, comfy bed, great shower, We ate dinner in the restaurant which was very nice and had an amazing breakfast in the morning, great location would definitely stay here again

6 of us had the tasting menu at the Pony last Saturday night (Oct 6th 2024). It was excellent from beginning to end. We highly rated a meal here last year, but this one was even better. The food was delicious, and we loved hearing about its provenance. We had different favourite courses, with 2 votes for the duck pate and brioche, one for the prawn dish, one for the cod dish and two for the venison, but we all loved every course. The service was also excellent - shout out to Caris, Nat and Emma who absolutely made the evening. Their enthusiasm, obvious passion in what they do, knowledge and generally lovely manner made this a superb birthday experience for me, and a memorable family meal for us all. Thank you Pony team.
