The best restaurants serving British food in Sunninghill and South Ascot Windsor and Maidenhead South East

Good food, lovely staff and feels like a proper local pub. Second time we've been for lunch and been a great experience both times. Recommended. Updated November 2023: We've been many times since I wrote the original review and The Duke has always delivered good food, good service and a lovely local pub vibe. Recommended! Update October 2024: still a lovely pub with good food and local pub vibe.

The best food I have ever had from a chip shop so so fresh and tasty I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Got a takeaway and really disappointed. King prawn curry was very mushy, prawns awful and the chicken and lentils, spicy but no flavour. Mushroom rice and naan was good!

We go every Saturday for breakfast and a relaxing read of the paper. The staff remember our order and are very friendly. The HK food is delicious and it’s a real opportunity to try something new.
