The best restaurants serving British food in Mortimer West Berkshire South East

Lovely tea rooms by the canal. Sandwiches, panini, cakes, icecream all delicious. It's tiny but has upstairs space too. Outside tables and chairs in the garden area very popular with families and dog walkers. Overall very nice. The toilet seat and the bin in the one communal loo look like a health hazard and need replacing however.

Food was alright, staff were nice. Food took a moment to be served. Chiken sandwich was a bit bland.

An all round lovely pub and great food!!

We all travelled down for a family wedding and whilst staying over dined in The Old Bell. The food was really good and we were looked after by Josh and Naomi who were both brilliant. Would highly recommend
