The best restaurants serving British food in Frensham, Dockenfield and Tilford Waverley South East

I visited Little Latte on a bike ride with a group of 14 people. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to serve us all in good time despite the large size of our group. The drinks and food (cakes and hot food) were all excellent. We sat outside in the rear garden that is shared with the adjacent pub. The setting, alongside a stream with views over the countryside, was very pleasant. We’ll definitely be going there again.

We had booked a table for 8 and were luckily handed the snug, which was so nice for a large group. Felt really private and the decor including the fairy lights was particularly pleasant. The food was so good, and really felt like you were in a country pub with the choices of game on offer (pheasant/venison). We also had an array of starters including whitebait, Camembert, halloumi, olives which were big portions. The staff were absolutely lovely and it's dog friendly so really accommodating. One of my favourite pub restaurants now.

Went out with daughter for lunch. Not been since post lockdown. Food was fantastic. Had to wait a bit but was busy and I can see why. Well worth the wait. Burger was very tasty and hot. Will take my husband next time.

Waited standing at front to be taken to a table for 10 minutes. Another 15 minutes to order 2 coffees and 1 tea. After another 20 minutes and 2 requests as to how long to wait with promises and apologies we decided to leave. Very disappointing. Sarah Squire sort this sort of thing out as your prices aren’t cheap and expect better from a ‘premium garden centre’

My partner and I went to the cafe on Easter Monday morning and enjoyed a tasty, well cooked breakfast with quality ingredients. All cafe staff gave us a warm and friendly service. I was even offered a kitchen plaster when a cut on my finger opened up. After breakfast we were given some help when choosing a raised bed kit by friendly staff and had a quick chat inside the store with the lovely staff member who was giving the place a good hoover! Overall we were very impressed with all aspects of our visit
