A lovely breakfast of Turkish Eggs. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, with an the yoke being at just the right level of runny.

Had a Christmas meal. food was lovely staff were helpful, unfortunately the bar manager let the whole Experience down, the bar had to close early due to an electrical fault as I was already stood up when they notified us of this I left my wallet on the table we were sitting at, when I realised this I rushed back to get it and he told me I hadn’t left it there and claimed I had drunk to much (I had 2 pints at this point), he then took my number down which took him 5 attempts to get it right and as I went to leave he tried to give me the bit of paper that had my number on it. Not sure he was fit to be working that night but was extremely unhelpful. very stressful situation as there was quite a substantial amount of money and all my bank cards in it.

Shame there was no sirloin when we visited. Only option was Ribeye which was not our preference and the cost was significantly higher. House wine is always a winner.

Party of 10 for family New Year Day and Birthday lunch. Waited nearly an hour for food, only one other table of 4 being served. Run out of beer and lemonade. Only one burger and one Pie of the day available. On the eventual arrival of our food the fries were all cold and beans and salad as accompaniments were missing. The fish and chips was overcooked and made with smoked fish, peas hard and not properly cooked. Such a disappointment. Shepherd Neame sort it out!

Enjoyed a lovely, relaxed brunch here with great food and faultless service. Nothing was too much trouble. The veggie breakfast was especially tasty and good value. The hotel’s elegant restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, helped by its log fire and cosy decor. And our window table had direct views onto The Pantiles, further helping to get us into the Christmas mood. Really recommend this pretty gem in the heart of TW.
