Very slow to get a tea and latte around 15/20 minutes. Good value for money breakfast but eggs were like rubber and hash browns very greasy. Was busy and clearly popular but I wouldn’t rush back

Today 6th October 2024 - we had our daughters baby shower - wonderful service - delicious afternoon tea with lots of choice - catered for vegetarians as well - lovey vintage tea cafe setting - would highly recommend- Thank You for bring great hosts 🩷

Haven’t been there for years. Certainly changed and all for the better. Pub grub but of very high quality. We had different variations of their home made pies. Excellent.

Too expensive best go to next village even milk terrible price . New owner said they would do offers now say they won't...paddock wood better

Great old fashioned service with friendly staff. Dog friendly Well kept beer (only one hand pull on) Menu simple but tasty. Dropped in having driven past many times and they were well paced with service and friendly. Will be back.

The quintessential English gastropub. The ambience is just that, warm woods, large tables, classic decor and fab music. The greeting is friendly and welcoming by all staff. This continued throughout service - attentive not irritating. We went for Sunday lunch. My husband had the pork cheek croquette and myself the scallops - both agreed 10/10. Both opted for the roast beef which was the ONLY roast I have had matching my own and Paul Ainsworth - The Mariners Rock. For me a 10/10 husband 9/10 as you do only get two small very thin slices of beef - he would have liked more. Three glasses of the luscious Nyetimber for me - my husband Gun bitter. We were completely satisfied and delighted to have enjoyed such a delicious lunch in a great atmosphere. Thank you! 😊
