The best restaurants serving British food in St Marks Rother South East

Nice place to stay, lovely location on the beach. Decent enough room, breakfast, and dinner were fine, although not many dinner options available. My partner enjoyed the spa, and overall, we had a great time.

We had dinner on Sunday. I had butternut wellington, absolutely delicious and my partner had steak and ale pie, full of meat, fresh veg. The new owner, Cheryl, makes you very welcome and dogs are welcome too. She will pop a child's Sunday roast in a dog dish for the pooches which we'll definitely treat them to next time. Very reasonably priced. Pleasantly surprised. Heading back there this Sunday with my mum. Big car park and garden, clean loos, clean bar, lovely staff, great food, what more can you ask for?

Amazing price of £10 for three courses on a fish Friday. The service was efficient, food good and ambience fine. We can't work out how the Star Inn can keep the prices so very reasonable. Definitely recommend and will visit again if in the area.
