Grandson's birthday lunch. Food was excellent but the service was brilliant Rob was friendly, fun and very helpful. Maria always makes us welcome and has a smile and a chat with us every time we visit.

Sat in the garden for lunch and had the shepherds pie, which was good but expensive for a lunch dish it came with a little pot of red cabbage which I think was a pickled version out of a jar. For the price a better side should be included. Could I suggest that table water is made easily available for guests who are eating.

At £10-99 for unlimited breakfast and coffee for one person, this is great value. But, when I bring my 6 foot tall grandson who eats free, it is unbelievable. A lovely laid back atmosphere. We were looked after by Lily, who was charming.
