This place has changed a lot since I was last there. Feels a bit cold inside now with some harsh LED lighting. Service was friendly and drinks were nice though.

Today I came here for my daughter’s 16th birthday and was served by a lovely gentleman called DYLAN. Didn’t book a table and was seated near enough straight away. Dylan came over to take our drink order, very polite and welcoming and paid attention to our comfort. Dylan my daughter happy birthday. It’s always that your experience is better with a lovely table server. Thanks DYLAN x

Blinking filthy place! Should of known from the Salt and Pepper pots its the was the start of a terrible breakfast! Plates are dirty! Rock hard fried eggs is the least of your worries. Don't waste your money!

We love this place and often grab a pie if we go into town and think what shall we have for dinner and are not sure. We will then grab a pie as we know we will have a delicious dinner and it’s cheaper than a takeaway and we are guaranteed a great meal. We have tried a few but our favourite is the steak and Stilton. The staff are so nice. We have eaten in there and it is like going back in the 1980s but again it’s a good meal cheap and good service. I advise takeout but that’s not to say it’s bad at all. Definitely visit

Second time we visited and both times food was served half hot and half stone cold. Both times they just put it back in the microwave and bring it out again without a word of apology. Bad food, bad staff, do not go here.

Over charged us on beer pint . Only one toilet per gender which is very inconvenient when the place has few people

Average service, good location, highly overpriced drinks and average atmosphere. This place used to be very good, but we definitely won’t be returning.

Purchase of large Cod and chips at a cost of around £8.90 Whilst cost is not everything the size and quality of the fish was dreadful. A small piece of fish, in fact the smallest I have ever been served in a chippy when ordering a large. That was a small issue, the cod was clearly not very fresh, it was old and grey and mushy. The batter was ok but nothing better than you would get on a precooked supermarket frozen fillet. In fact an oven cooled supermarket option would be preferable. The chips were cooked probably for the second or third time, were very fatty, however they were refried at the time of purchase. If it wasn’t for fact they were hot the rating would be 1 out of 5. So disappointing.

Always stop by for lunch when I'm working in the area! Most definitely not your average food van, top notch food and quick service. You have to try the burgers!
