The best restaurants serving British food in Nelson Portsmouth South East

Brilliant cafe staff are very friendly food is amazing plus waiting time is mins as they no what you want as soon as you go though the door lol

Really disappointing. I’d heard great things and was really looking forward to my fish and chips and had them delivered. The chips weren’t just cold, they were wet from condensation. The batter on the fish was crisp but there was too much batter on too little fish.

Came for meal with family was lovely and affordable. staff very friendly waitressed by a lovely lady called zunita....

This has to be the worst experience eating out ever! Went as a family with a 3 year old. Approximately 12 dishes were not available, including the 2 most popular meals on the children’s menu, pasta. Waited an hour for our food, was promised twice it would only be another 10-15 minutes. Waitress became unfriendly and did not manage the situation well when we enquired on the second time. When it did arrive one dish was not very hot, items requested not to come with the meal were served in the plate. Chips were French fries which doesn’t go very well with the fish and gammon choices. Was told that was all they had. Ladies toilet was dirty and apparently no soap in the gents. If they were under staffed and lacked food they should not have taken the booking.

Waiters were miserable had to wait over an hour for 2 breakfasts and everything tasted like it had been re heated and bread was very greasy
