The best restaurants serving British food in Holywell, St Mary's Oxford South East

Nostalgic pint in a decent old pub.

Having not been out in over two weeks due to having pneumonia, today with my cousin who was visiting from America ,I went to for a brunch at this wonderful Green RoutesCafé, really lovely atmosphere, great staff and a wonderful chilled vibe and the most exceptional food and delicious coffee. Literally just what the doctor ordered. My first bite to eat in a while , without doubt a great experience and my cousin who was visiting from the states, her third visit to this café, loved it, can’t wait to go back again.

Absolutely lovely pub, there is a wide range of beers on offer and the cocktails are amazing. The food was fresh and well presented. Pascalle a young lady was very helpful in choosing from the menu. Gave great advice on drinks available. Would definitely recommend if you want a quaint little pub with comfy seating great food and friendly staff

Si usted está buscando un buen salón de té para tomar un té de la tarde británico de alta calidad, este lugar es una buena opción. El interior es agradable y acogedor. Yo diría que sus bollos son el alimento que debes probar, fresco y esponjoso. Tomé un chocolate caliente y era un chocolate encantador y rico y la dulzura era la correcta.

We also spent one day in Oxford on our trip to the south of England and visited Oxford's oldest pub. In the summer you can sit outside, which is what we did and watched the Wimbeldon men's semi-final. The kitchen opens at 5 p.m. and we had a typical English afternoon/evening meal. It was a very chilled day. Gladly again!

Segundo viaje para el almuerzo del domingo y no podía faltar la deliciosa pierna de cordero... tuvimos esto en ambas visitas y fue absolutamente delicioso. Sin embargo, una cena de fin de semana en otra noche era un poco esbozada, así que puede que no sea la primera opción para una ocasión que no sea el magnífico formato de asado de domingo. Más de esto y sería 5 estrellas cada vez.
