Nice burger and nice selections of beers

Very nice food, I had the fried chicken and chips, was delicious. The service is very good aswell, I had a mix up with the table number, and even though it was late in the night, they made another plate for me.

Managed to find the last empty table, we both ordered the burger with bacon and cheese one with the tater tots, both meals were very good and I can recommend the tater tots they were delicious, A good meal at a reasonable price.

Service was a bit slow but it was an Easter weekend so they were quite busy. However, the food was excellent and fair-priced.

I have PCOS and normally struggle to find food when I eat out. (High protein, low carb, avoid bread and pasta) But this pub had a fantastic grain bowl that was exactly what I needed and I was so happy to see an option on the menu that worked for me so well. Staff were friendly, vibe and beer also good.

Always a great place to come and have a drink. Staff here are great, especially Harry, he looks after everyone and is very much in tune with what happens in the bar.

Best local in Oxford, recommend Wednesday for student drinks and food is great!

Excellent service and good quality food

Amazing food for a fabulous price. Loved the burgers so much and the portion sizes are massive. Perfectly cooked and I definitely recommend upgrading the fries to poutine or beef dripping tots. The best part of the dinner had to be the Biscofff cheesecake. Definitely going to get that ordered on the poker night that happens every Monday.

It's a proper pub with some good beers to try . Nice service vegan food, too. Vegan breakfast could do with a bit more quality, personally speaking. Coffee and tea was very good too

Während meiner Zeit in Oxford vor 6 Jahren, war ich regelmäßig mit Arbeitskollegen vor Ort. Auch jetzt ist der Pub weiterhin sehr gut. Schön eingerichtet, gutes Essen, große Auswahl an Getränken, freundliches Personal. Eine sehr gute Adresse, wenn man eine Lokalität etwas außerhalb des Zentrums sucht.

It's been several years since I've been to the Cape and it will be a few years more before I return. We were unfortunate to come on a student discount night so the place was full of people in for a cheap drink. Lucky them...
