Came with some friends they show all sports the service was amazing staff were on point. And great tunes in the back ground

Great for live sport and an amazing selection of beers. Staff were friendly and inviting. Veggie burger was decent too 👌

Went for Sunday roast with family. Waited 1.5 hours for lunch. Staff didn't update us at all during this time. At least they should have offered a discount or free desert/drink by way of apology, but nothing was offered. All tables waited well over an hour-hour and a half for lunch, to the point that we got chatting across tables with other families about the long wait. The group in the table next to us got their own snacks out. Staff were flustered, stressed out, and unpleasant to all clients (not just us). Shame we had paid when ordering the food - otherwise we would have left instead of waiting and starving.

Went for some lunch with family, really liked the burger I had, the football was on too so it was a win win for me. Would recommend and will come back

I'd reserved a table online as we wanted to watch the football and have some food. The table was great, food excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Had a great night!

Super fun, loved the outdoor space. Lots of TVs showing sports/fights. Drinks are good and reasonable as well.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience. The quiz has ascended my soul to a higher plane and I’m a better person for having participated.

Decent pub with an outside area that has booths and heaters. They show sports in the big screen but also have live music upstairs.

Came for a sunday roast and it was amazing! 10/10 would recommend. The staff were lovely and service was great. Will definitely be coming back

It’s the best pub in the UK. So a chill atmosphere.

The manager was excellent, really knowledgeable about the allergens in the food and very helpful. A great place to watch sport and have a drink and some food.

I was served by cassie who went out of her way to make sure we had a pleasant visit and was very helpful in recommending which drink to have (which I am very picky about!). Met some friends here for a drink and a game of pool. Great choice of drinks and pleasant staff, quite expensive though... They have a fab outside spot, which I thought would be nice and peaceful, but they were airing a football game right through the whole pub - including the outside area...

I didn't have any food so I can't rate that , but otherwise it was a very good experience visiting this pub . Enjoyed a very nice reasonably priced pint of Guinness . Plenty of TVs to watch sport on , a street seating area , good access for us disabled customers and good friendly staff

Interesting pub. It has a lot of sports on the tv. That’s not my thing. However the seating is quirky and the outside bit at the back good. It has the vibe of an upmarket spoons. The beer choice excellent. Menu great choices and good quality. Brunch excellent although we missed bottomless one.

Lovely bar at the start of Cowley road. Made a stop over after our walk to have a few drinks. Great atmosphere during the sporting events. A small choice of draught beers.

We were a group of 18 people to watch the Euro Cup and they treated us very well. Many screens and a lot of atmosphere, also on the terrace.

I was greeted by a smiling young bar tender on arrival and while waiting for our drinks, I mentioned a few of the specials and he kindly offered a sample of the Pink Rhubard Cider ....Very nice 👌 Nice bar pool table outside seating and very clean toilets with lovely soap and handcreams. Often overlooked as it is on a busy corner but I will definitely be back.

For the first time in about 30yrs I popped in for a couple of drinks before heading off to St Hilda's across the road. Apart from the eye watering prices, it seems like a nice place. Outdoor seating area seems popular, not for me though as I prefer spirits mixed with a dash of soda water rather than a gulp of traffic pollution! All in all it's good to see such an old and traditional pub still standing as such and not replaced by luxury flats

Super cute pub to watch the football in with outdoor space, a beer garden and a very cozy setup inside. Wide range of drinks available with a particularly nice selection of pale ales.
