The best restaurants serving British food in Froxfield and Steep East Hampshire South East

Stumbled across this place - proper old fashioned country pub with a small but utterly perfect menu of ales, local wine, boxed cider and glorious pub food. Only a tiny pub but quite a big garden - lovely in the sun, but also some undercover areas if raining. Ploughman’s and quiche both amazing - all homemade, including the bread. Fabulous.

Great experience. Friendly staff - owner/operators gave it a personal touch, very comfortable rooms, good value for money and a delicious Wagyu burger on the specials menu. A bike shed to protect your steed from the elements for cyclists is the cherry on top.

Lovely pub - nice atmosphere, good service (very accommodating), delicious food. Really family friendly. Would definitely return.
