The best restaurants serving British food in Wallasey Wirral North West

Fresh made thin & crispy with mighty meat topping. Far too much in one sitting along with fresh cooked skin on chuncky chips. Had to take home to have next day.

My first time here with my friend (who had been here years ago). My friend had a toastie and I had a Full English. Food was delicious and such good value for money. The staff were friendly and courteous, and the tables etc were spotlessly clean. I think the young man's name who cooked my breakfast was Christian - it was the best Full English I've had in a very long time, thank you! Had I not been so full after it I would have been tempted by one of the cakes, but I just couldn't manage it! Bluebell's is going to be a regular place for me now after having such an enjoyable meal there.

Went with my 4 year old grandaughters for afternoon tea. We had a lovely time. Food was spot on. The staff were lovely. Nothing too much trouble. Made my grandaughters day. Will definitely be returning soon

Ellie was amazing my diabetic friend had a hypo and she hot him a coke straight away we added sugar to it and he was soon better then we all ordered our lunch. The salad bar was brilliant my son and friend had steak I had chicken bacon waffle it was delicious so nice. They couldn't finish their steak and were given boxes to take away would definately recommend you the harvester is brilliant the staff are all friendly and helpful the food top notch service couldn't be better thank you so much and a big thank you to Ellie our server 😀

We have just left The Lighthouse. We come every month for the tribute acts. Yet again another fantastic afternoon. Food, staff, service was excellent. Neil Diamond act, who we have seen several times, brilliant 👏 We brought friends with us today, who hadn't been and they loved the experience. Many thanks Tina and staff. Having eaten well and received excellent service here in the past, I write this review more in sorrow, than anything else. The service my friend and I received this lunchtime, was appalling. Firstly, we waited some 15 minutes before a member of staff actually took our order for two Sunday lunches. We then waited; and continued to wait until we saw other customers, who had arrived after us, receiving their meals. We then spoke to one member of staff who apologised saying the kitchen had lost our order. But instead of prioritising us, other customers continued to receive their orders before us. To make matters worse, apart from that one member of staff, the manager couldn’t have cared any less. In conclusion, it’s sad to see the declined of a place that was once renowned for service and the high quality of its food. If Sheridans continues like this, it won’t be open for much longer.

Gary and his team looked after us so well. At very short notice we needed a function space and Gary was so helpful. Sometimes you meet people that make working together so simple. He sorted screens, tables a buffet and everything else that we hadn't thought of without even asking for a deposit, all with the biggest smile on his face, top bloke. Also, the lads behind the bar are friendly, polite and happy to be serving. Highly recommend this place

We usually phone this restaurant at least once a week for breakfast delivery and Roast dinner delivery. The food is gorgeous and the family running this cafe are such genuinely lovely people. My Husband is a Vegetarian,I am not. So we always order him a vegetarian breakfast and vegetarian roast dinner. The man who delivers is an absolute gentleman with a heart of gold! We have only just started ordering again after a 6 month absence as I have been critically ill in intensive care following a respiratory arrest. The gentleman delivering our order was so lovely bringing our breakfast,saying he had wondered where we had been. The food is always very good value for money,there’s always a full plate of piping hot food. Your breakfast is always delivered with a choice of tea or coffee and the coffee is the best I’ve ever had!! Such good value! We will also be ordering our Christmas dinners from Mary’s this year-they are the best!
