2 night stay at the hotel with tasting menu the first night and breakfast both days. Views are incredible and can be seen from the front of the hotel, outside seating area, some of the indoor breakfast tables and some of the hotel rooms. Our hotel room was a double room (fell view), lovely sunrise view from the large windows, plenty of space and storage, comfy bed. The full English breakfast was lovely. Tasting menu had 5x courses plus bread and canapés. Delicious meal and staff very friendly. Lovely lounge area with topped up fire place. Good location for getting to Windermere and around during the day by a short car journey. My one pointer would be the heating in the bathroom was stuck on full blast, I appreciate these old places are prone to damp but it did feel a bit wasteful. Overall lovely stay and will be back

We have just returned home after a lovely 2 night stay at the Queen's Head with our dog and would like to thank Mark and Sam and your team for the wonderful hospitality shown in your beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect. The little touches that your guests enjoy make this a really memorable place to stay. Often you find places who claim to be dog friendly are merely dog tolerant, however the Queen's Head is truly dog friendly. The huge dog friendly guest rooms are furnished and cleaned to a high standard. We enjoyed a varied and extensive breakfast menu and all evening meals were perfect as well. The variety of Robinson ales was much appreciated too. Many thanks from Jim, Karen and Darcy dog.... we will be back.

Went for afternoon tea. Lovely venue and pleasant staff but the Afternnon tea was dissapointing, the single very lonely pig in a blanket was nice..but no sandwiches, little bits of fancy coloured cakes. No nutritious value. Not my cup of tea i'm afraid and had to go looking for somewhere to eat after we left. And £60 for the experience☹🤣..that is 3 exellent afternoon teas for 2 at our local cafe still in the lakes!.. but it is the lakes after all...££££££££££££££££££.
