When there as a family of four, Being before quite a few times without any problem, but this time me and my son had burgar, chips and extra slice of cheese and onion rings plus its says salard. Both burgars had no salard and were missing extra cheese. The burgars in the photo looked really nice, the ones we got we got were very thin and tasteless. The staff are great but very much doubt we will be back.

Lovely pub but really disappointed by the female member of staff serving who blatantly ignored us waiting patiently at the bar and deliberately served others who clearly arrived after us. Poor attitude and the pub deserves better quality of staff than this. Walked out and went to Tin of Sardines down the road - proper and fair service....

We visited last week as the sharing platter sounded nice. It was! We had tickets to be somewhere so couldn't stay long but will definitely visit again for a meal. We had the meat & cheese platter, served with bread, grapes, chutney. They told us the cheese was from Northumberland so they support regional producers. The setting was lovely, small and cosy, great view and warm, friendly staff. Well worth a visit, we've been once and will definitely go back.

Had fish, chips, and mushy peas here yesterday. All three were VERY good, especially the mushy peas, which especially stood out compared to many other places. The only thing I would improve in this establishment is the quality of the sea view - I would either replace the brick wall with strong glass or elevate the seating to see over the brick wall.

The cafe environment is nice and the views are lovely. Unfortunately the menu and food are really disappointing. Limited menu, not cheap and food was poor, toasted ciabatta ata not toasted and hardly any filling.
