From staff that greet you like an old friend to traditional home cooked food, this is a real find. Recommended by the owner.of my holiday let and didn't disappoint! The perfect end to a wonderful day - wish I lived closer, would definitely visit again (though probably better for my waist to keep this gem as a treat 😉)

Very nice decor and fabulous staff cocktails but the foodis average. Definitely recommend for a quick drink and chat.

Manager seems VERY unorganised, rude and does not care for customers

We called in on spec at lunchtime and without a reservation. Though it was the Easter holidays and busy, we were shown to a table with a warm, friendly welcome and the dog given some treats. We were served by three different people and every one was warm, kind and made us feel special. The food was excellent - a proper home-made pie with shortcrust top and bottom - and staff attentive without being intrusive. All in all a fantastic experience, great food, very dog friendly and the nicest of staff. Will definitely be back.

So wasn’t sure what expect as reviews very mixed. Very quiet when we came in. Lunch menu is stotties so we thought that would be good. The halluim wrap was great and decent size for the price. Kids meal great. The stotties were toasted white buns and while everyone said meals were nice it was a bit odd! Nice place to eat on a breezy day to warm up.

There are so many coffee shops in Whitley Bay, and Boodles has identified a niche in serving boba. However every time we have been they never ever have the brown sugar boba (which I think is the most popular flavour?!) One time we were even told they only serve that on a Saturday which sounds bizarre?! Also when sitting in for a coffee I really don’t like being served it in a cardboard cup, I’d prefer a proper mug or cup.
