Always drinks missing and clearly lack of management do the owners even care? Sort it would be a pleasant start.. used to be such a nice pub and Charlie going is the last straw...obviously care more about the Kittiwake...maybe focus on the other pubs under your portfolio..despite it seeming to be a rudderless ship the staff are lovely but it appears evident that it needs management support. How is it drinks are always not on tap?

Didn't realize it was only a brunch menu but had what was basically a full English breakfast. The dessert menu isnt usually served but one was provided for us. The young lad who served us was great, friendly but professional, an asset to hang on to. Four stars were given mainly for atmosphere as diners were thin on the ground.

Very nice pub, good atmosphere unfortunately they close early on Thursday night at 9 PM.

Really nice pub with really helpful friendly staff and really nice inside and all the food was lovely. They do great gluten free menus to and they are really strict with keeping to it . My daughter is celiac and we felt safe eating there with her and will be going back as she really enjoyed it .

We have just had brunch and it was absolutely delicious. Great menu options, we had (between four) Shashuka, sausage and bacon sandwich, full English and eggs Benedict and we all loved our meals. They were quite happy to adapt the menu for us (bacon and sausage sandwich isn't actually on the menu) and the service was fantastic. My first time having Shashuka and I would definitely have it again. I recommend everyone tries the brunch! Thanks for a lovely time.

Lovely staff, every week I go with my elderly farther ,and the food is lovely ,this week I had a cheese board ,and I can honestly say for £15 it was the best one I’ve ever had and well worth every penny ,I highly recommend

Friday night dinner at my favourite local pub. Never disappoints on staff, atmosphere, surroundings and usually food. Last night however I went with my sister and we found the menu rather sparse on choice. I had promised her Cajun chicken which is gorgeous when it’s in the menu, it’s not on now! Nor is chicken burger. We had the chicken gyros which I found gorgeous but it’s chicken thighs, not everyone’s choice of cut. Please put it the Cajun chicken back on the menu and look at offering a bit more choice of some classic dishes. Still my favourite local pub with the friendliest of staff though and it certainly won’t put me off. Already booked for Sunday!

Sunday lunch favourite venue. We love it here. It’s consistently gorgeous. Staff are so friendly, especially the lovely Charlie,can huge aset, always friendly and so welcoming. Keep on doing what you do 🥰

Nice place to go for a reasonably priced meal

Lovely atmosphere. They do amazing themed nights such as burger and games night, which we do regularly as a nice family day out! Food is great.

First time back here in a few years and I'm glad I came back. The refurb is beautiful, it makes a huge difference to the feel of the place. Our group had various versions of the Sunday Lunch and everyone was impressed - good portions & well cooked. We'll be back

Visited for an evening meal with our family, and we were the only customers there at around 7.00pm. Also discovered that Monday night is 'burger night'. Burger and chips for £5. Extra 'sides' available. A goodly supply of board games available, and two TV screens for the football. Chips were particularly nice. Perhaps it is more popular on non burger nights?

Booked for a surprise Party - wonderful staff so helpful and made the party a great one , nice buffet and modern relaxing and sociable surroundings. Would definitely recommend for a private party and use again - well done Redhouse Farm xx

Great service and amazing food! Ordered the chicken gyro, one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

Can here for North Tyneside Restaurant week, however worked out cheaper to use their in house deal for pies (Wednesday night). Had two very good pies indeed (pastry slightly under) with delicious chips and gravy. Kids menu, has high chairs available and baby changing. Worth a visit! Takes American Express.

We went here for dinner in restaurant week with my husband’s parents and were extremely disappointed with the food. We got nachos to start which were just tortilla chips covered in cheap cheese sauce and jalapeños with a token drizzle of guacamole and salsa My MIL and I both got the chicken pie which was so salty, served with lumpy mash and watery gravy. It was quite clearly just a pie they’d heated up rather than made as it was stodgy and didn’t have much filling. My FIL had beef tagine and my husband had the chicken gyros. They both said they were okay but nothing special. The staff were lovely and the service was good There was a distinct lack of atmosphere though Overall, would not return again, especially not for food

We had the nachos and would have been great if real cheese and guacamole had been used rather than the squirty versions. Halloumi burger nice. Quite expensive for what it was.

Pizza night Tuesday, 2 for 12 quid!

Menu is limited and pretty boring, the actual food is not great. However, the staff are friendly. Could be so much better as it’s a lovely pub but needs to offer better food!

Excellent service and good standard of food served. We had the roast lunch, very nice.

Went for Sunday lunch. Food was okay, bad mash and watery gravy . However, even though we had pre-ordered the food came out haphazardly and the person served first's food was cold by the time the last meal came out. This was the same with the deserts. Massive time difference between the first and last desert being served. Went to pay and was told that the drinks had been paid for so just assumed someone else in the party had paid, so paid for food and left. Some time later staff contacted my sister who had made the booking and demand that the drinks bill be paid by 6pm and refused to take payment over the phone. Very unreasonable as it was their staff's error. Overall very poor service and customer care. Will not be going back.

There was one guy running the bar delivering drinks and food. Completely understaffed. He worked tirelessly but the owner fails to manage this bar along with another bad the Kittiwake. Needs taking over by Newcastle city pubs sadly

Quite a long wait, which was fine as we wanted a few beers first. Food was not bad. Good sized serving and veg were nicely cooked. Nice to eat in the garden for a change!

Plus points were the pleasant long haired barman and tasty Neck Oil. The other staff were typically young and disinterested. However £12 for two drinks is expensive. The big minus were the appalling stalls in the men’s toilets. There is no excuse in the 21st century for this. One seat was completely detached, another partially so and they did not appear to have been cleaned recently.

We attended an event, and the bar staff were really lovely, the decor and furnishings are stylish and comfortable. I would love to go back and try their cocktails

I thought it was about time I visited the Red House Farm pub as it has been renovated and redecorated throughout since my last visit. I ordered the turkey & gammon for a change and was certainly not disappointed. Both meats were perfectly cooked, and served with a generous portion of vegetables. I followed this with fruit crumble and custard with a coffee, all served by the ever attentive staff. Absolutely first class, and excellent value... Highly recommended.

Somewhat unassuming from the outside but smart and cosy on the inside. Service was friendly and attentive, whilst the food was excellent. Fish and chips were generous, with chips to be jealous of. Decent little kids menu with proper food for sprogs (some places cheap out on the children with a menu of frozen nonsense). Not so here; the kids got fresh pizza and really enjoyed it. This pub is a bit far from home for us but we would travel for it again as decent places are hard to find.

Have eaten on many occasions with no issues, however on Saturday ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas, they were awful the quality of the pepperoni was inedible. Staff made aware who did acknowledge the shortfall in standard but only offered a free sweet as compensation. Won't be eating there again.

Went there for dinner Monday night but it really wasn't for us a very limited menu and wine was expensive for a place like that we ordered fish and chips it was okay chips were too much fish was nice batter crispy husband had a beer and I just had a soft drink it was okay might go back if menu gets better

Great place out the way if you didn't know it was there plus does not look much from the outside but. ... What a surprise amazing interior they have put allot of money into this to make it look so good. Also wow the food was amazing 2meat 5veg later absolutely stuffed and perfect meal!

Spontaneous decision to go out for tea tonight, decided to pop in after hearing good things. It was quiet but there was still a nice atmosphere. Food and drinks were spot on. Ellie was lovely, chatted to us and was great with my 8 year old. Big shout out to Max for his unexpected company and cat cuddles- he was a very welcome guest at our table and made our visit. We will definitely be back!

Excellent outside area with a full refurbishment inside too. Drinks quite expensive but probably not much higher than nearby inferior pub options

Sunday lunch, al dente veg, flat Yorkshire pud and plate swimming in watery gravy. Not very disabled friendly either. Very mediocre...preferred it before the refurbs. Sorry, won't be returning. On the plus side, friendly staff.

Chris, your dog policy is weird to say the least. I get the upkeep and maintenance of furniture but to have issues with my dog being on my lap (not the furniture) is madness. Great pub. Great staff. Good food. But please offer non nonsensical guidance for staff with regard to “dog etiquette”

Gluten free heaven. Found this pub on Facebook menu looked amazing. So called in on Saturday. Really nice pub recently refurbished to a high standard. Excellent greeting by bar staff. Found our table then ordered at bar after examining the menu... Wife was was very happy as there is quite a good choice for celiac's. She opted for halloumi burger with fries. And gluten free beer daura.. I'm not celiac so had pizza loaded chips and flatbread garlic with cheese. The wait honestly was 5 to 6 minutes very impressive all piping hot. Well presented. Only thing a can say is roll on next week going back.. Gorgeous food tasted lovely no complaints was served most of the night by ...DARCY.. very polite and knowledgeable young lady.. thanks darcy your a credit to the owners . Definitely go and try Sunday dinner also do gluten free thanks to all staff excellent

Good pub food, not top notch by any means but the excellent friendly service makes it worthy of four stars.

The staff were friendly but beware if you go on a Sunday. You get handed a meaningless menu because they only do the Sunday roast. Oh there IS a veggie option.. that is the Sunday roast with no meat (not even some kind of alternative like nut roast.. or the classic veg lasagne... as chef can't be arsed on a Sunday.)

Renewed place, now it looks amazing. Perfect place to drink and/or have dinner with family and friends as your local pub.

Have eaten here twice since the recent refurbishment and enjoyed the food both times. Decor is lovely and we’ve been able to sit in one of the new orange booths on both occasions - really cosy. We’ve tried a mixture of things - lots of the tapas dishes, pizzas (pulled pork and pepperoni) and the children’s pizza and fish & chips. All of the food was lovely and so are the homemade sauces which you can add on. Children’s menu is great value for money with good portion sizes and the children’s dessert options - waffle or brownie - are both amazing. We’ve not had dessert off the main menu but definitely think these should come in bigger portions. Staff are really friendly. Will definitely visit again.

So easy to order and pay through their website, and can be delivered if preferred. The quality of the food is superb, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Pizzas burgers & snacks are also available through the week

My family and I have really been missing going out for a Sunday roast so we were excited to try Red House Farm's takeout dinners after being recommended by a friend. I pre-ordered 4 roasts via their website, all with different meats, and they were beautifully cooked and a generous size with plenty of gravy. This will definitely be my regular Sunday lunch from now on!

Called in on the off chance as we were passing when out walking our dogs. I am glad we did as they are dog friendly in the bar. We ordered the Roma pizza from the snacks menu and it was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Good food at a reasonable price

We had a lovely Christmas meal with friends. The food was well presented and the portions were very good. Everyone enjoyed starters, main course and the puddings were lovely. The sticky toffee pudding with custard was so good.The young staff were very pleasant and the service was good, everyone’s meal came together.We enjoy the weekly offers and would recommend the Christmas fare .

Found this place on trip advisor, and so glad we did! All five of us enjoyed the food, which was really tasty and excellent value. In summary, great staff, great food and great atmosphere. Would definitely come back :-).

The food is good, but sometimes it takes a long time to be served. At times there is only one member of staff to look after both the bar and the restaurant

We had the haddock and chips and mushroom risotto - both were delicious and the service excellent.

Lack of choice on the menu. Very slow service, not much on desert menu either. Will not be going back there again.

Great food, slightly inexperienced staff, (didn't know deals available to customers,ie £10.00 off next meal when joining mailing list) would recommend.

My boyfriend and little girl took me here for mothers day. All 3 of loved it and the food was fantastic!
