I go here a lot these days...... nice and relaxed, the mince 'n dumplings are particularly sublime.

he visitado No. 1 con mi hija ya que hjad una oferta especial de apertura de un sándwich caliente gratuito con cualquier bebida caliente comprado. recientemente reabierto bajo nueva dirección. El personal era encantador y nos sirvieron rápidamente. La comida estaba recién preparado y no pude resistir volver (después de un enorme sándwich caliente!) para tarta de zanahoria! Los precios son muy justos, dadas las porciones son generosas. Lo recomiendo.

food takes a while but that is ok as it is freshly cooked, lovely breakfasts and home made pies and cakes etc. Service is always good too. Really like it here.

staff canny in here, but the food lacks a lot, and they could do with new crockery. Much better places to go in north shields that have a proper coffee shop vibe

Staff were friendly but the food was poor, and we had to wait 25mins before we got served, they had to send out the local shop for supplies

Was our 3rd attempt at getting a table at a decent pub but heavily let down by the god forsaken blooming football. Absolutely & totally ruined it. Food service & staff really great but definitely ruined a lovely meal out with my wife with football. If your not a football fan then this place is definitely not for you. On the previous mention unfortunately 1 star. Wouldn't recommend or visit again. King Edwards RoadThis is perfect for a family meal out! This is the second time we have visited since it’s been under new ownership and it did not disappoint! Portions are generous and food was delicious. Staff are friendly and happy to help and had a great atmosphere
