Awful omelette. I asked not to have the chips served with an omelette and salad for £9:00 Still paid £9:00 for small salad with two fried eggs…not even combined, completely flat, crisp edges….the last thing you would describe as an omelette. Requested salad dressing ‘don’t have any’ was the answer. Small pot of mayonnaise was begrudgingly given after we requested it. Whole place smelt overwhelmingly of frying. Poor dale if it can’t summons up better food than this.

Well, a very strange experience. On entering the cafe we were spoken to by an abrupt and rude assistant. She informed us there was no hot food as it was too late (2ish) but we said that was okay we would be having coffees and cake. She was so unwelcoming and stony faced as if she didn't want the custom. I sat down and let my husband order, I was so taken aback that I actually chuckled to myself. Here is somebody so obviously unhappy in her job. On a positive note our coffee was decent and served hot. Our cheese scone was also very tasty and warm. Its a shame the customer service is abysmal- its so bad that it is good!! The door notice stated 4.00pm closing but it was closed at 3.15. We would not recommend or return.

This was our second visit here, met friends the first time, enjoyed so much came back just the two of us. Super friendly welcome. Clean, fresh and spacious room. Had a lovely, well cooked evening meal, slept like a dream and woke up refreshed for a home cooked full English. Traditional style pub, thoroughly enjoyed and will be back - thank you!

Called for Sundsy lunch. Ordered I beef dinner and 1 lamb. Excellent dinners. Plenty of meat plus a extra jug of gravy. We have been calling here often and have never been disappointed.

Called for a Saturday tea and we were not disappointed. Fabulous quality and great portions. Not cheap but well worth the money. Will be a regular call for us now. Loads of amazing places to park up and eat so winner all round.

Now called PLATFORM ONE- Fifteas Vintage Tearoom. Same type of seating indoor and outdoor but a brighter, fresher look with clearer signage. Cornedbeef pie was the order of the day. Nice light pastry and tasty filling. We took some jaffa orange cake back home and it was lovely and moist and delicious. Great pot of tea and a Cappuccino and much better service. A vast improvement on our last visit.
