The best restaurants serving British food in Village Southwark London

Este lugar es genial! Tuvimos una celebración de cumpleaños con 12 miembros de la familia y tuvimos una correspondencia muy eficiente con Cece para reservar nuestra comida ya que éramos un grupo tan grande. Tenía el entrante de vieiras y chuletas de cordero para principal que eran absolutamente deliciosos. Todo el mundo en la fiesta deliraba sobre sus comidas también, que incluían las gambas, tarta y croquetas para empezar y la lubina, filete y hamburguesa wagyu para la red. La decoración es preciosa y acogedora para una noche de invierno. Sin duda recomendaría! El menú del brunch se ve bastante impresionante también.

Came across this place while waiting for a bus. Food nice, staff very nice, reasonable price. Amusing cross match of clientele. Old ladies with blue rinses having a matter over a cup of tea and burly builders tucking into a brunch. I loved the chicken and advocaco salad. All happy punters, just like me.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here! The portions were enormous and the staff were very friendly.

Rather an odd menu, focusing mostly on breakfast/brunch type dishes, with 2 or 3 Japanese style dishes thrown in. You order at the counter & the food's brought to your table. I was surprised though when the smashed avocado on toast with marinated chilli & poached egg, priced at £10.75, was rung up on the till at £12.09. When I queried it, I was told this was the service charge, yet there had been no actual service. If I'd not been happy with the service, hardly arduous simply involving bringing the food to the table, presumably I'd have had to go & ask for my 12.5% to be refunded. Added to this there was a container by the till labelled 'tips', implying there was no service charge. Very bad practice and rather annoying. The food was good though despite the odd rather limited choice.

Se la parte hotel non mi ha soddisfatto quella pub è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Cucina da pub ma con alcuni piatti gourmet molto ben eseguiti. Ambiente molto caldo ed accogliente. Servizio ultra gentile da parte di tutto il personale,giovane e sorridente che si fanno in quattro per soddisfare ogni esigenza. Birre molto buone , naturalmente servite all' inglese non fredde e con poca schiuma. Prezzi nella norma.
