Park's Edge Bar and Kitchen in Southwark

I travel across London regularly just to eat here. A firm favourite for me, due to the great staff, excellent menus and beautiful decor.

Had the most delicious brunch with my husband. Delightful staff that went out of their way to make sure we were made to feel welcome. We sat outside and had a water bowl brought out for our dog.

We had the most incredible Sunday lunch here! The tastiest roast we’ve ever had and were really helpful catering for one of us being gluten free. Gorgeous location too. Will definitely be back

We love this restaurant, Claudia and her staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere brilliant. I love that they refresh their menus evry so often. Always a pleasure to visit

My second time coming to Park's Edge and it did not disappoint. Great spot to come with friends, family or partner. Great atmosphere, the food and drinks were fantastic. I had the Sunday roast with a glass of wine and dessert for only £34. Can't go wrong. On top of that, the service was really lovely, really made us feel at home!

I went for brunch and dinner on the same day, I was that impressed. Good food, great hospitality and the sorrel cocktail I had was good too. Some innovative and well presented dishes. I look forward to going again.

Great brunch place. Mix of standard brunches (done very well) and a few with Caribbean ingredients (also great). Probably the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Nice vibe. Nice people. Nice to be across the road from the park.

I went for brunch with friends and was presently surprised by the offering. Cute menu, nice choice in luding an English type breakfast and somethings more exotic. I was impressed. The food was pretty good. Service good also. Four stars for me. Going for dinner with the fam, gonna give an honest dinner review too.

4th time here in 12 months, this time celebrating our 1 year anniversary and the anniversary of our 1st date at this very restaurant. It’s unheard of that a restaurant with such a high calibre of food and service not only continuously maintains that level but get better also. The head chef was on annual leave and the sou chef was running the kitchen, as God is my witness we have never had better food at this restaurant than on this night. Parks edge have hired additional staff and each member we interacted with was meticulous in their attitude attention to detail and hospitality. New menu items such as the ackee Bellini and bourbon chicken wings were amazing and flavoursome. Can’t wait to go back, have been raving to all who will listen about this black pearl of the south east, a wonderful fusion of traditional Caribbean cuisine and fine dinning flare. Every borough in London needs a Parks Edge.

Second time here. Love the food.Caribbean foundation with a fusion twist. Soft shell crab burger was a truly memorable choice. Ordered the Mango and Nectarine sorbet for afters, to be told they were out of mangoes and would I be happy with just Nectarine? How fresh is that???? Nothing just out of the freezer. Really impressive on all fronts. I love Caribbean style home food but this jacks it up to fine dining without losing the home-core. Had lovely chat with chef Kurt about his passion. Nice interior design. Nice ambience. Service was poor. Difficult to get their attention. They forgot things so had to be reminded and got other stuff wrong. Gave up tying to get salt and pepper. Food was beautifully presented but was bland, under seasoned and poor quality. Our mains felt like they had been reheated. Price points and other reviews led us to believe that this would be high quality dining but it wasn’t in our opinion.

It was our second visit and it confirmed all the good we had to say about this restaurant. This time we went for the Sunday roast and brunch menus and again the combination of solid traditional cooking with some subtle hints of exotic influences was perfectly executed. Excellent atmosphere thanks to the lovely staff and spot on interior design. This is our new favourite local.

Following my daughter's wonderful 30th birthday at this venue, 5 years ago, I decided to continue the family birthday trend with my own 60th birthday for circa 40 friends and family. I wanted to make it intimate, and fancy, but with a feel of friends and family being with me at home, such is the homely feel of the venue. What a super event, and with attention to detail, and what a fantastic menu! All my friends and family had the most amazing time, and it was the 60th celebration I always dreamed of. We also had some entertainment by Bantu Arts at the venue, with interactional African drumming, absolutely professional, timely and fabulous! and we found it really exceptional and very very enjoyable. All I can say I say is thank you to the proprietors, the chef and the team and the waiting staff. You did yourself proud! Everyone who attended wanted to return as the food, service and ambience were absolutely superb!

We all had a lovely meals: duck leg, Wagyu burger, cheese burger. Each was well cooked and presented. Service was exceptional, from a warm smile on entering the restaurant to prompt and attentive table service. Excellent value for money too.

Great place for a relaxed Friday night dinner. A well put together menu with small & big plates, burgers and sharing plates. Prices are reasonable and the food was excellent (I had squid followed by spatchcock chicken). Whilst limited options for wine by the glass the offerings were well chosen and priced.
