The best restaurants serving British food in Herne Hill Lambeth London

Great American style diner with a substantial menu, but I got food poisoning from a chicken dish and salad. It was the only thing I ate that day as it was an early lunch, brunch. Upset stomach and toilet issues for two days. No reply to my email complaint.

Wonderful dinner at Llewelyns on a Saturday night. The staff were super kind despite the restaurant being busy and even agreed to switch our table upon request. Food was delicious and served promptly and politely. Good value for money considering portion sizes and quality. Excellent bread. Very good wine selection with both classic and unique references, a little on the pricey side. Would 100% recommend.

My husband and I popped in here on the 15th of October while on our way to my husbands first hospital appointment. The worker at the time greeted us at the door and helped us in with my husbands wheelchair. The staff member helped us to a table and was very helpful for the whole time we were there. I am sorry I didnt get their name as they deserve to be told how much we apprecieted their help.

Food is great! Service flawless and a very good selection of wine and beers.

We came to watch the football, brilliant atmosphere, good views of the screens. Excellent beer range. My new spot to watch my team play.
