The best restaurants serving British food in Junction Islington London

I have tried two times this business everytime either they were closed or they did not wat to serve. What business is closing on Friday 3pm ? I think the only reason they have customer is social media

Just finished here at the oak and pastor and I must say that it was the loveliest roast dinner I have had in a while. The staff, atmosphere, music, and the food were fantastic. Will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you 🙏

Little gem in a small narrow street towards greenwich market. We had a tea and scones. Lovely. Its a very small but cosy cafe. Staff dances around each other behind the counter to serve their clientèle

Very friendly buzzy little cafe serving absolutely delicious food. Four fussy people were very very satisfied. Pity its only open during the day and closed in the evenings

I’m never sure when this place is open, this is my first chance to try. Staff are pretty - very - grumpy, maybe don’t run or work in a pub?! Forever been curious but I’ve ticked that off now, not for me. Deffo not dog friendly as they have a cat, which is cool but good to know.

Brilliant family Sunday Roast Lunch here recently. Beautiful pub with terrific ambience, plenty of seating and fabulous bar and kitchen staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was lovely and not overpriced. I would highly recommend this place for all occasions!
