The best restaurants serving British food in Muswell Hill Haringey London

Went for Sunday roast with friends. Had to ask for condiments more than once, food eventually arrived and was seriously cold, like it had been set aside. Staff member was rude. Manager explained staff shortage, and was apologetic. I was starving but put off by the whole shoddy experience. We booked our Christmas do in October, Never again! 0/10. The atmosphere was bland too. Very dissapointed.

Had a really enjoyable Sunday roast today and the staff were great. We were a table of four but Unfortunately we were sat next to a table of 20 so we couldn’t hear each other speak. That’s not the fault of the restaurant but maybe they need to think about that when seating people. Overall a good experience though

Absolutely tremendous. Friendly welcome, great selection of drinks. Friendly atmosphere and a lovely terrace to sit on and enjoy the sun: Inside is so quirky, from the cooktoo clocks to the nixknaks hidden around.. a real gem!

Coffee and hazelnut cake was excellent!
