The best restaurants serving British food in Orton Waterville Peterborough East of England

Booked in late as a table of 7 tonight and while the restraunt was still very busy our server Molly was the best! She super attentive and polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Our food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious and we all enjoyed ourselves. Great experience thank you Molly and thank you chefs!

Recently booked a family meal for 15 of us at the Windmill. Great service from making the arrangements and booking, to the food and waiting staff on the day. Would happily recommend the Windmill.

Chicken screws were nice, soft and juicy! Then restaurant was getting busy and the Seabass with new potatoes were pan fried but a bit over cooked.

Absolutely awful and over priced. The salty chicken needed a steak knife. The fish batter was slimy and full of oil. The baked potato, gravy and salad items all tasted of preservatives and the veg was cold. They are closing down next week and staff morale is very low. Don't waste your money

Great service and even better food. Came here by chance but would definitely come back. Staff great couldn't do enough for us.
