The best restaurants serving British food in Thundridge & Standon East Hertfordshire East of England

Came for Sunday lunch and were very disappointed. We never give bad reviews but felt that we had to review this meal because we were both so unhappy with it. Very oily and tasteless. Had to cover it in salt and mustard to try and get some flavour. Staff were very nice and efficient at least.

Nice pub, food was good quality. The girl serving in the restaurant area was fantastic. Saturday lunchtime.

Overheard the racist owner speaking of the appointment of the new Osfted Chairman who happens to be a Muslim. Disgusting behaviour we live in 2025!
