Positives - Absolutely beautiful pub, with highly attentive, happy staff. Negatives - I fancied some cheesy chips with my pint... The smallest portion of chips, not fries (good thing) arrived and they were by far the most disgusting chips I have ever eaten... anywhere, in my entire life. Absolutely soaked in old, very smelly & obviously extremely dirty fryer oil. Utterly rank... I'll not be returning I'm afraid.

Booked for Sunday lunch and it was lovely. The food was great, very crunchy roast potatoes and all the trimmings, fabulous cauliflower cheese and lentil roast. The roast beef was great too. It was friendly, warm and welcoming and Rachel runs a fantastic pub. Would totally recommend all.
