Positives - Absolutely beautiful pub, with highly attentive, happy staff. Negatives - I fancied some cheesy chips with my pint... The smallest portion of chips, not fries (good thing) arrived and they were by far the most disgusting chips I have ever eaten... anywhere, in my entire life. Absolutely soaked in old, very smelly & obviously extremely dirty fryer oil. Utterly rank... I'll not be returning I'm afraid.

Just wanted to say we had a wonderful meal at the Farmers Boy today. The food, service and staff were outstanding. I'm ceoliac and the menu for me was superb and extremely tasty. I cannot fault this pub. Will definitely be a regular there now. Thank you

Elvis tribute night. Elvis v good, disco after. Staff amazing service, only thing that let the night down was the food, in my opinion lamb shoulder was awful and rest just ok, not really worth the money

Booked for Sunday lunch and it was lovely. The food was great, very crunchy roast potatoes and all the trimmings, fabulous cauliflower cheese and lentil roast. The roast beef was great too. It was friendly, warm and welcoming and Rachel runs a fantastic pub. Would totally recommend all.
