Just good village pub with garden.

Belated review to record a first rate lunch one Saturday in August. Looks quite modern and slick for its village setting. Not sure what to expect but quickly made very welcome. Good daytime menu, the sort where everything sounded really enticing. A great set lunch menu was good value, the centrepiece was a perfect caesar salad. Sublime. Well worth a visit.

Lovely beer garden, great place to meet with friends for a drink. Although pretty expensive. However, you pay for the atmosphere aswell. Can go winter and summer and sit outside as they have heaters!

Very quiet on a Thursday lunchtime but all three of us had an excellent meal. Friendly service in unpretentious surroundings. We will be going back!

Nice pint when stopping off one day. I will probably come back from dinner. But guys! You really need to rethink the stainless steel sign by the front door. I say this with love; it is on the squint, it is stark and it does not complement the beautiful building you have.
