I love these places when you find them. This is a very basic good old Cob Shop that does some hot food. Very nice bread. I was so impressed when my daughter asked to delete item from here breakfast wrap and they offered an extra instead. I had the classic Red Leicester, with onion in a crusty Cob and one with cheese and tomato. Very pleasant experience. Delighted. Great food, good price and very nice service from the staff big thumbs up

I have purchased several cards from Aljiche for special birthdays or family weddings. The quality of each card is absolutely exceptional as well as the personal attention to detail. Packaging and prompt delivery are also to be rated highly. I am not normally into writing reviews but these cards and their presentation deserve the highest recommendation.

We visited last Sunday for lunch and we noticed a change in both the pub and the food ... The pub could do with a bit more Christmas decorations or even lighting the fire so it felt a little more inviting don't get me wrong it wasn't inviting but it just didn't have that warmth or warmer feeling the staff were brilliant and very inviting and helpful and friendly ... the food had changed loads and so much better and very tasty and the gravy on the Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing my only moan and it's only a little moan was the cauliflower cheese it was great I didn't like it much it was bright yellow and looked weird and wasn't very tasty but apart from that the food was lovely and very tasty ... also maybe be a bit faster we were waiting for 35mins for first course and 25mins later for main course ...but honestly it was lovely both staff and food xx

We caught up with good friends, whom we hadn't seen for a few months, over a delicious, relaxed lunch. The staff were friendly, cheerful and unobtrousively attentive. Having had three similarly good lunch-time experiences at the Copt Oak through September and October, our expectations were high - and we were not disappointed! Thoroughly recommended for informal get-togethers.
