Tucked away on a little cobbled street, but can guarantee a big wholesome breakfast. Only about four tables, but you do get served quickly.

Our 4th time staying here never fails to disappoint. Stayed in room 5,comfortable and clean. Large spacious bed. Best night sleep for ages. Had an evening meal which was lovely home cooked food and and good value. Breakfast in the morning sets you up for the day. Staff are great as had to change our plans at the last minute, no problems for them to accommodate us. Great place to stay

Pass this pub on the way to my son's, we always say we'll have to call in one day, so one day came, we booked a table for four and the food was lovely, one of the best pub meal I've had, the staff was friendly and polite I would recommend this pub to anyone, I'll definitely be back....
